> Skills open doors. We build the bridges.

SkillHeart is a nonprofit initiative connecting emerging digital talent with training, tools, validation and international opportunities — starting with responsible bridges between African and European technology ecosystems.

## What SkillHeart is

SkillHeart is a 2026-registered non-profit association in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. It exists to identify, train, support and connect emerging digital talent with professional, educational and entrepreneurial opportunities through fair, sustainable international technology collaboration between African and European ecosystems.

### The problem it works on

Talent is everywhere; opportunity is not. Capable people finish their training with no route into professional work, while demand for digital skills keeps growing on the other side of the same bridge. The gap is not ability: it is access, evidence and introductions.

### How it is funded

Nobody pays to take part, and universities are not charged either. The work is funded by the companies that engage the professionals SkillHeart introduces, plus donations, grants and sponsorship. Everything generated is reinvested in the mission.

### What it is not

Not a job board, not a staffing agency and not a recruiter. It introduces independent professionals to companies that engage them as such.

## The four pillars

### Academy

Practical, job-ready training in digital and AI-assisted skills, built for real work rather than for a certificate.

### Readiness

A way to assess and evidence professional preparation, so that what someone can do is verifiable by a third party.

### Labs

Hands-on projects where people learn by building in real teams, with the tools the industry actually runs on.

### Network

An international community of talent, mentors, universities and companies: the part that turns a skill into an introduction.

## Programmes

Announced as each one is confirmed. None is running yet as of August 2026.

### Digital Readiness (in development)

The core route: practical training in distributed work, real work experience that leaves verifiable evidence, and introductions to European companies that engage participants as independent professionals.

### Founder Bridge (pilot in preparation)

Business owners from different countries and sectors working on each other's problems as peers.

### Graduate Pathway (planned)

Partner universities refer graduates they could not place, who enter Digital Readiness directly.

### Launch Lab (planned)

Mixed teams take a product through research, validation, build, launch and measurement.

## Who it is for

- **Emerging talent**: gain digital skills, evidence and a route into international work.
- **Universities and communities**: give graduates a destination after the degree.
- **Companies**: set the standards digital talent is trained against, and engage the professionals who meet them.
- **Sponsors and technology providers**: provide the toolbox, and reach the people who will build with it.
